Application

Admission to the Master's programme in Comparative Literature is open to students who have obtained a Bachelor's degree or a comparable degree in Comparative Literature, literary studies or in a philology, whereby in the latter case at least 12 credit points in literary studies must be proven. 

At the time of admission, knowledge of German at the level of at least DSH 2 as well as knowledge of one of the following foreign languages at the level of level B2 and one of the following foreign languages at the level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) must be proven; an analogous level applies for non-European and classical languages: 
Bosnian/Croatian/Montenegrin/Serbian, Bulgarian, Chinese, Danish, English, Finnish, French, Classical Greek, Icelandic, Italian, Latin, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish.
